You will need a selection of tools to chose from, dependent upon the type of ground into which you wish to install your Disklok Security Ramp Post.

We suggest some of the following will be the most suitable:

  • BOLSTER CHISEL AND HAMMER
  • CROWBAR
  • STONECUTTER
  • ELECTRIC CHISEL


All these are available from tool hire companies if you do not already have them in your home
  1. Prior to fitting unfold the legs to the vertical position
  2. Using the Ramp Post as a template, mark off the position of the post legs in the fixing area.
  3. Excavate the leg positions to a depth of 30cms and insert. Use this position to mark off the full area of the complete unit and excavate to a depth of 6.5 cms and fit the unit flush into the ground.
  4. Fill the leg holes with a concrete mix and allow sufficient cavity beneath the ramp post for drainage to the sub soil or aggregate.
  5. Smooth off the concrete as required.
  6. DO NOT USE THE POST UNTIL THE CONCRETE HAS FULLY CURED
  7. Full instructions on maintenance and installation are provided with each Post.
